So we decided to go down to Huntington Beach yesterday to avoid the forecasted heat wave. Mary, hobbled by her Kielbasa-like feet and ankles, decided to stay home and remain in a horizontal position.
The beach was great! It only got up to about 85 or 90 at the beach with a little breeze, ahhhhh...
So after a day of relaxing on the beach and some body surfing, we are on our way home, in traffic of course... driving by reader board I notice the temperature readout of 112. No way!
Peering down at the temp gauge on my pick-up... sure enough 112, ugh. Thank God for air conditioning... sorta.
After a day of trying to cool down the stifling heat for my lovely swollen bride, the AC condenser tripped the breaker... but not the breaker I could see located at the disconnect switch near the unit. No this was the breaker in the house panel that I couldn’t see with my tiny Bechtel flashlight.
So.... we spent the night without AC.
Luckily first thing this morning we got everything back up and running properly.
