Happy Birthday!

Wow!!! One Year!!!

The kiddos turned 1... hard to believe. We had a party for them with all the usual: lots of great gifts from our friends, pictures, singing and of course the eating of the birthday cake. Mary made both kids a cake and we let them have at it. They were pretty timid at first, with a throng of people watching them. But eventually they gave in to the sugary goodness and began to shovel the cake into their little mouths. Good times. They managed to turn the kitchen floor into a large piece of fly paper.

Thank you to all that generously brought gifts... even though you were clearly instructed not to bring gifts.
