A couple of weeks ago as we were looking at plane tickets for Dalton to head back to Vancouver for the school year he blind-sided us all with a request to stay in Wyoming and go to school here...
My heart about jumped out of my throat, but I managed to remain calm and "see what I could do". Dalton called his mom and told her and she was soon on a plane out here to find out what the heck was going on. After a long week of even longer emotion filled talks, she reluctantly relented and said he could stay! I know it was an extremely difficult decision for her... I have made several of those decisions in the recent past. I feel for her, but on the other hand I get my boy here!!!
He is so excited! Not only for the chance to stay here and corrupt Adam & Grace, but for the school, the friends he has made, time with Mary and myself and he gets to play football! He starts today and is super amped! This will be the first team sport for him so I am super excited as well. He was even able to get my old number... cheesy I know!
He is on the Raiders, Uncle Nick should like that.
So now the chaos is about to begin... I will probably put up a page to keep track of D's games and what-not.
So there we go, that's about all I have to say about that...

That is awesome news! I am happy for all 5 of you. I am sure Dalton will enjoy football and it is even better that he wants to play a team sport.
On another note, that picture of Grace with her hair all spiked up will look great on my wall next to the picture of her dad with his hair all spiked up. All she needs is a bunch of facial hair and it would be a perfect match. Well, once again, congratulations. I bet the two of you really have your hands full now, but in the best way.
